Jackie forms the backbone of Dying Breed, bringing a diverse background of experience from her days with the Baltimore band, Scarlet Angel. Close your eyes and you'll be just as convinced that you're hearing Fleetwood Mac's Stevie Nicks as you will when she brings the signature vocals of Rob Halford from Judas Priest. Jackie's extreme vocal repetoire keeps Dying Breed as diverse as you want, and gives them the flexibility to cover just about anybody from the 80s!
Gary
A veteran of the US Navy, Gary has been playing guitar since the days he went to high school with Maryland legend Marty Friedman of Megadeth. Gary refined his technique and signature overdriven sound with glistening cleans during the golden years of hard rock, back when songs were learned by slowing down the record player!
Butch
If Jackie is the backbone of Dying Breed, then who better to be its heartbeat than the drummer? Butch brings it hard, with a life of service for our country in the Army, his rippling Crossfit muscles, and his brain busting beats! Ain't nobody gets behind a drum kit and makes it look so good!
Christi
While many people may be blown away by Dying Breed instrumentally, what truly sets them apart from the rest of the pack is the breadth of vocal diversity that Christi brings to the table! Christi fills out the songs with pitch perfect harmonies, amazing dancing, and wonderful leads on a few of our tunes that go higher in the vocal range. Come get a glimpse of this redhead!
Eric
The young blood; what more is there to say? Eric is a local PhD student just getting into rock and roll, but that doesn't stop him from doing his best to keep everybody on their toes with his stage antics. Get a glimpse of the next generation of musicians, and maybe take a second (or third) look at that wardrobe, will ya?
Shane
With decades of time pouring through the works of Beethoven and Bach, the classically trained Shane always feels the itch to get those synths going for 80s rock! A veteran of the local music circuit, Shane is always ready to work for whatever the band needs, whether it's his glorious harmonies, exemplary work on keys, or jumping on guitar for a song.
